Great Zimbabwe Hydro Power Station

Taurus Civils (Pvt) Ltd was appointed by Masimba Construction to undertake steel and brickwork works on the Great Zimbabwe Hydro Power Station project in 2024. The works formed part of the civil and building support infrastructure required for the successful delivery of the hydro power facility. The scope included brickwork construction, masonry walling, steel-related civil support works, builder’s works, and associated finishing activities. The project required accurate setting out, quality workmanship, proper coordination with other trades, and strict adherence to site safety and construction standards. Through this project, Taurus Civils demonstrated its ability to deliver within an energy infrastructure environment, working under a major contractor while maintaining required standards of quality, safety, productivity, and site coordination.
